Everything You Need to Know Before Your Sauna Session

Planning your sauna and cold plunge experience?

Here’s everything you need to feel prepared, comfortable, and ready to reset.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

We recommend bringing:

  • Two towels (one to sit on, one to dry off)

  • A water bottle to stay hydrated

  • Shoes that can get wet

  • A swimsuit or comfortable athletic wear

Pro tip: Arrive about 5 minutes early so you can settle in and ease into the experience.

What should I bring to my sauna session?

Most guests wear a swimsuit or athletic clothing that’s comfortable in both heat and water. This is your experience—wear what makes you feel most comfortable.

What should I wear in the sauna?

Our wood-fired sauna typically ranges between 160°–200°F, with most sessions sitting around 180°F.

The heat is intense—but it’s meant to be restorative, not overwhelming. You’re always encouraged to listen to your body and step out when needed.

How hot is the sauna?

We recommend:

  • 10–20 minutes in the sauna

  • Followed by 1–3 minutes in the cold plunge

  • Then 1–3 minutes of rest

You’ll repeat this for 2–4 rounds during your 75-minute session. There’s no right way—only your way.

How long should I stay in the sauna?

Not at all.Your session is completely self-led. While we provide guidance (especially for first-timers), you’re encouraged to move at your own pace and listen to your body.

This isn’t a competition—it’s a reset.

Do I have to follow a strict structure?

Sauna and contrast therapy offer incredible benefits, but they’re not for everyone.

You should consult your healthcare provider before attending if you:

  • Have heart conditions

  • Have low or unstable blood pressure

  • Are pregnant

  • Are feeling sick or have a fever

We also ask that guests do not participate under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

Is sauna and cold plunge safe for everyone?

Regular sauna and cold plunge use can support:

  • Stress relief and mental clarity

  • Muscle recovery and reduced inflammation

  • Improved circulation

  • Nervous system reset

  • Overall wellness and longevity

Many guests leave feeling lighter, calmer, and more grounded.
